|05/01/10: The First Day Multimedia Ballet|
|In collaboration with multiple Grammy-nominated musician, Patrick Leonard and student Emmy winning filmmaker, Jennifer Grace, the Montana Ballet Company presents The First Day. Leonard wrote The First Day with his daughter Jessica. MBC's co-artistic director Amy Lynn Stoddart interpreted the story and music as a ballet.|
The First Day will have its world premiere at Bozeman's Emerson Cultural Center on May 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.Following the dance performance, Patrick Leonard and Jeni Fleming will take the audience on a multi-sensory journey of the legendary producer's musical career including a unique rendition of Pink Floyd's seminal album, Dark Side of the Moon.
Over the last 30 years, Patrick Leonard has helped shape the popular music through his work with Elton John, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, Madonna and other top hit-makers.
