| Hi everyone,
I've got some tough news. I did not make the Olympics, and the disappointment is huge. Even though many factors are out of my control, sometimes I still feel that I have let my friends down. But kind words like yours help me to keep it all in perspective and be proud of the effort I put in. Thank you deeply for thinking of me, wishing my success and sharing the ups and downs.
I have had an amazing journey and put my heart into it. I have met many great people along the way and challenged myself more than I thought possible. My heart is still fully committed to racing for the rest of this season. I love what I do and am still gaining many valuable experiences.
Thank you so much for standing by me and willing me to attain my goals. I'm going to quote my favorite politician (the governor of Montana) when he lost his first campaign and say "I did not reach the top of the mountain but its a pretty good view from here!"
The best, Jen |
