| | | | 03/27/06: Raineer Wildnerness | |
| | This was the start of a 3,500 foot descent into the Raineer Wildnerss from the top of Silver King Mountain. |
| | | 03/26/06: On top of the Throne, Crystal Mountain Washington | |
| | Getting to the heart of Snowboarding and blowing off some post-competition steam. Riding powder with good friends, hiking into the Ranieer Wildnerness, taking in the silent snow.....Paradise! |
| | | 03/05/06: Last day in Russia, on to Lake Placid | |
| I was on my own today, and cruised to the Peter and Paul fortress, the oldest building in St Petersburg. This is the view from the battlements and the people crossing the snowy and frozen Neva river. (even in their stylis stillettos).
Checked into the Russian museum. What an amazing insight into the psyche of the culture!
Tomorrow I'll fly to Montana (about 20 hours) get 6 hours at home (if all goes smoothly) and then hop on another plane to New York.
Bye Bye Russia |
| | | | And yet another, is the rock-star parties! Here I am with Nederlands' freestyler Luke and my new Russian friends at the Big Air rider party |
| | | 03/03/06: When in Russia.... | |
| | Another benefit of the tour is getting to try on cool hats! |
